Lunacor is interested in the intersection of improvement science and communication to enhance systems of care and foster sustainable change.
Current Focus Areas
- Health Communication & Language Access — studying how language, stigma, and system design influence patient safety, retention, and engagement.
- Interpreter Workforce Development — advancing leadership and training for interpreters as active QI partners and change agents.
- Improvement Science in Underserved Settings — applying small-scale PDSA cycles to reduce disparities and improve medication knowledge, and patient experience among LEP caregivers.
- Community Collaboration & Health Literacy for System Integration — evaluating bilingual education sessions and co-designed workshops that connect clinics, interpreters, and communities.
